Village Life magazine, known for excellence in content and production, published its first annual visitors' guide in 2009, followed by a second edition in June 2010:

The Overberg & Surrounds: An informed directory-style guide to where to stay, what to do, where to eat and shop in and around the towns & villages of the Cape Overberg & Surrounds. (See sample spread above.) This guide was extremely well received -- most people described it as "stunning" -- and promises to become the premier tourism marketing medium for the region. The next issue is scheduled for June 2011; the booking deadline is 30 April.
